Ford Adds Top-End Titanium Model to Flex Lineup

It is available in a choice of four exterior colors -Red Candy, White Platinum, Tuxedo Black and Ingot Silver, all of which are mated to a new Tuxedo Black two-tone roof as well as blackout treatment for headlamps and taillamps.

The Flex Titanium is available with either a naturally aspirated 262HP 3.5-liter V6 or a 355HP 3.5-liter V6 turbocharged EcoBoost unit.

Prices (not including $775 destination charges) are set at $40,340 for the 3.5L FWD, $42,190 for the 3.5L AWD and at $45,185 for the 3.5L EcoBoost AWD model.


Ford is enhancing its 2011 Flex crossover lineup with the addition of the new range-topping Titanium model. Set to arrive in U.S. showrooms later this summer, the Titanium is based on the Limited series model adding certain unique exterior and interior details as well as some new features.



Ford Endeavor is a medium size SUV, tailor-made for Indian markets. Since 2003, a similar variant is also in continuous production in East Asian markets. Not to be confused with Mitsubishi Endeavor, Ford engineers have relied on dependable platform of Ford Escort and ingenuity of Mazda engines to produce an all terrain vehicle, suited to humid conditions.

Specifications

The vehicle provides 3 row seats and ample luggage room to cater growing demand for family vehicles, in India. Ford Endeavor is equipped with 2.6 L petrol and 2.5 L diesel engine that can produce thrusts exceeding 140 hp. In fact, second generation Ford Endeavor is even more powerful 4 cylinder 16 valve inter-cooler SUV that is turbocharged with 3 L diesel engine and able to generate 156 hp of power. Modifications are further amplified by the introduction of Active-Shift-on-the-Fly 4x4 systems and BorgWarner fitted 5 speed automatic transmission gears. The cargo area has a removable top which is basically a redesign of cargo space in Toyota Hilux versions
